In June 2016 I broke my right ankle , resulting in needing a operation and having 8 pins and a plate to the right of the ankle. ,and the left side of ankle having 2x bolts put in ..
my nerve was damaged in the operation , when I was told by the surgeon that they could not find it to repair it. . I never thought anything of it. .
The 7 weeks I was in a cast non weight bearing , I started to suffer with pain , 3 weeks into wearing the cast .
I never thought any thing of it , in fact I thought I had a pressure sore at the back of my heel , the pain was so intense I just wanted the cast removed ASAP ..
Hospital would not do this .
After removal of my cast , I started to suffer with swelling on top of my foot and all round the ankle . Physio said it be because of the metal work ... then I started getting the burning , colour change and my mobility was very painful .
Sensitivity was painful anything touching it and the burning was intense ..
I started to suffer with intense jerks to in my foot and spread up my leg ...
In October 2016 I was diagnosed with a Deep vein thrombosis in my right calf , put on blood thinners ..
despite me telling me physio and doctor about the pain , I was suffering, nothing was done. .
It wasn’t until September 2017 I was eventually diagnosed from seeing a Neurologist with type 2 Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.
Now it’s 2021 and now my condition of Crps has spread to my right foot. .
I use a mobility scooter now , suffer with depression , anxiety

I have only been offered medication , no other help .. so I feel like I have been left on a shelf left to suffer.
