Doctors working with Adults affected with CAH

Asked 5 years ago [email protected] 50

My son was born with CAH. He is 45 years old. After he turned 18 years old, the Great Team of  Doctors said good by and asked that we find a Physician familiar with CAH.

We are still looking for one! My son has been treated by a doctor that does not seem to have much interest in the case but He is part of the Insurance plan, and my son does not want to change doctors. I am surprised that my son has survived all these years with the poor care he has received. He has a low self estime and is overweight, that worries me. We have attended a few CAH Conferences throughout the years but no doctor sees adults with CAH...only children up to 18 years old.

Where?, How can we find a Doctor for him? We live in  Texas.
