How did all start?
It started about 9 months ago when I started to feel extreme tiredness (fatigue), bone pain, shortness of breath and Weight loss.
Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?
Yes i have diagnosed with Chronic idiopathic myelofibrosis. It took me about 2-3 months to finally get my diagnosis

What have been your biggest difficulties?
When I started my treatment with Jakafi (ruxolitinib) unfortunately created a toxicity in my blood and I had to stop my treatment.
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
We were all shocked at the beginning. My family has been very supportive. Only my very close friends know about, since I cant work or be social any more.
What things have you stopped doing?
Stopped working as journalist / reporter, be berry active and social.
What do you think about the future?

So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?
I m thankful of my life, I think that was wonderful, I m happily married for 25 years I have 2 wonderful kids. I leaved in 3 defriend continents, travel a lot.
What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?
Spend more time with my Kids, travel more

What a story I m so Thankful.
Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?
Take it day by day. Fight back, don't quit.
