It's my Father that has this horrific Immune disorder that presents in blisters from the basement level of his skin.  Mostly on feet, back, and beginning on lower legs, and hands.  The begin as very itchy, and then the blisters come.  It took Dad a very long time and battle to get this disease identified.  There is only one skin doctor where we live all across the lower half of the province.  She is overbooked and overwhelmed by patients #'s unfortunately.  In the almost 2 years, we've really only had one period of the blisters being gone or in remission and that only lasted a month.  Being that my Dad is ninety and has other previous conditions; the only medications he can take are creams and prednisone type ointments.  He did try cellcept for a month but had no relief and got pneumonia.  We're currently thinking of trying CBD avenue to get some kind of relief.  I help Dad daily with his wound care.  Although not advised after cleansing skin, we pop them with his sterile diabetic needle, then apply Inadine to them.  It helps them to heal faster.  My heart goes out to anyone with this.
