How did all start?
I was born with it.
Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?
It took till I was 9 month old to finally be diagnosed with PS.
For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?
I never got the surgery. Been afraid too. Plus I can't afford it.
What has been the most useful thing for you so far?
Not to dwell on it being a "curse" rather just bracing the "weirdness"
What have been your biggest difficulties?
Practically anything that deals with heavy lifting.
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
Family relationships? No. Social MOST DEFINITELY.
What things have you stopped doing?
More like things I haven't done.. I'm so self conscious about myself I'm afraid to do really anything.
What do you think about the future?
Opportunity.
So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?
I'd say from the time I was 17 to now. I met the love of my life who accepts me fully for who I am and what I look like. We got married this past year and might be expecting a little rainbow baby
What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?
I'd be more confident with myself and my body.
If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?
"Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get."

Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?
Don't be depressed because you have Poland syndrome. It doesn't do any good to sit and just be a lump because you have an abnormality. It sucks I know this first hand but, it doesn't define who you are as a person.
