Explaining what has gone on with my life feels a bit like a novel or a Oscar nominated film as you really couldn't script it. In 2006 I came back from my first year at university and re-registered at my doctors. I gave a urine sample and the next thing I knew I was in hospital having it explained to me I was type one diabetic. I was shocked just asked why me. After seeing my dad deal with it for 25years I felt I had the right to question. Life carried on I have two beautiful children aged 5 and 3 difficult pregnancies one premature the other stubborn to come out. in 2014 I was told I was fat loose weight so I did 8 stones worth. Started suffering with pains, sickness; everything went in the other direction and I havent got better since. I have lost an additional 2 stone had my gallbladder removed but symptoms got worse. The latest as of end of February 2016 still producing stones in my bile duct, have chronic pancreatitis, bile malabsorption, constant DKA and feeling pretty unwell.

i have CP but I don't have any diabetes although at times I'm very close.
i imagine this would make your life that just a little harder. Can I suggest that you have a look at a place called www.questforlife.com.au and Oetrea King who is the founding member. My doctors over the last 8 odd years have just kept adding pills after pills after pills to the point that I was taking close to 20 pills of one type or another, my intuition told me I was being well and truly being over medicated so I've gone down the path of ridding my body of all of the opioids, I'm close but have another 4 odd months to go. The opioids have given me so many affects other than pain relief which has led me to reducing my meds on my own accord, and by intuition.
