Story about Takayasus Arteritis .

My story

Dec 2, 2

By: Sara

I was diagnosed at 28 after I had my second child. I am truly convinced that the stress of losing my grandmother sent my TA in to full flare.  I have tried many meds and was in remission for about a year and am now back in a flare up. I am currently taking Prednisone and Cellcept for TA along with BP meds, frolic acid,etc......I have learned to just deal with it. Keep pushing because it keeps me going. Having the kids keeps me busy and that is the best medicine. I never dreamed at 39 I would be on more medicine than my 80 year old grandmother. I love life and everything about it. I would love to do more than I am able but it is what it is. Live life to the fullest, don't be afraid, keep your head up and push through.  God has got this, he will not put on us what we can not handle.
