How did all start?
Not sure, its been there as long as I can remember.
Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?
I only just discovered that what I was seeing and experiencing isn't a normal thing, currently schedule for official visit.
For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?
I have tried getting treatments for all the non-visual symptoms I experience with no real affect.
What has been the most useful thing for you so far?
Nothing to date.
What have been your biggest difficulties?
Connecting the dots (no pun intended) to realize that all the symptoms are related. I am currently trying to figure out if I can focus on one at a time and see if there is a waterfall affect.
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
Not yet.
What things have you stopped doing?
Nothing yet, this is all new.
What do you think about the future?
Unsure. Just being aware that there is a problem is a good thing.
So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?
Well I have always had symptoms, so I would say that I have never really had "best years" but more like "best months" and it seems for about 3 months out of any given year I am in a good spot.
I am able to be "mindlessly ignorant" about my symptoms while at work or focusing on a single task.
What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?
Nothing really that I know of. If I had to answer I would say, just be content with life and respond to things with an appropriate tone and approach.
If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?
Impulsively embracing things that remove symptoms.
Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?
Be aware and learn about what treatments are there for you. Also, embrace what you cant control to try and find a way to work with your issues.
