Comic strip artist extraordinaire Berkeley Breathed (Bloom County, etc, etc.) by all reports has it.
BUT...in an interview sort of evaded the question about it. Passing it off as a muscle cramp he had in his neck for a week or so. What???
Of all the things! He has this rare neuromuscular disorder which needs to be publicly acknowledged to inform others. And he denies anything is wrong.
The ONLY celebrity, who never even had it, that did do a public awareness commercial about it was Dixie Carter (Julia from Designing Women) before her death. Makes me cry when I think of the misery that could be diagnosed, treated and ended if only for one person.
IF only one celebrity would step up and do as Ms Carter-Holbrook did.
I've also, years back heard there was a pro golfer who has it. Would never go public about it. Guess they are more ashamed of it, since they can't get a drug company to pay for endorsing an Rx? (So rare, few of us have it)
