I would have to say that symptom wise that pain is the worst and most limiting symptom. When my daughter is in a flare she can barely stand up straight due to the intense stomach pain. Her muscles and joints will also ache. I have stood by helpless watching her cry from the pain. Her food triggers are so extreme that she can't even take medication to help with pain relief. We use heat pads, heating blankets, and essential oils but nothing seems to bring relief.
