Diabetes, how I am told, has 2 causes. First, and most common one you'll hear from doctors is that it is genetics, hereditary. Second is unknown, some doctors say that it is not known how a person gets it when they don't have anyone in the family with it; while others will tell you the story, which I got, that the body was trying to protect itself from a disease and it ended up attacking/harming itself.
