Understanding how Klinefelter Syndrome works is the first step to a happy and successful life. Happiness is a state of mind. Personally it was accepting that I could never get a PhD in Psychology and therefore go back into counseling clients. A job I really enjoyed. Not to say that nobody with KS can't achieve that level as ones ability to learn is based on ones personal upbringing. Speech Therapists I have known have told me if a person is taught early enough in life they can overcome the learning disability most often related to KS. Accepting that one cannot 'father' a child is usually a stumbling block but medical science has now changed that too. Again if one is diagnosed early enough in life then there are things that can be done.
