I'm a 31 year old woman with BWS. My life is not impeded by anything related to this syndrome. Some patients may experience complications due to hypoglycemia, macroglossia, airway problems, hemihypertrophy, malocclusion, organ enlargement, etc. Outlook varies patient to patient, but on average, expectancy is a normal life.
