I know people with GVHD do work, but most seem unable to complete a full-time schedule day in and day out. My son's doctor, Arunkumar Modi, told him that the GVHD process takes up so much energy that it's as if you're running a marathon inside your body every single day. That doesn't leave much energy for anything else.
