Fetoscopic laser surgery ( laser fetal surgery) is the most advanced procedure for this disease. The goal is to stop the blood vessels on the placenta from sharing blood from one baby to the other and to balance the amount of amniotic fluid in each of the babies amniotic sac ( for Mono-Di twins).
