Story about Parkinson .

Parkinson's story.

By: Ask me

Five years ago, at the age of 43 I was diagnosed with an essential tremor. My neurologist and I decided to try a few different dopamine agonist but the side effects were worse than my tremor so after about a year of trying, I quit taking them.  I was in denial and figured I could make it through this with only diet and exercise. When my tremor increased and the stiffness made it too hard to do my job, write, or brush my teeth, I decided it was time to go back to the neurologist. I was then diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and placed on Senimet which has improved my life substantially. That was three years ago, since then I have removed gluten, sugar's when possible, and stress from my life when I can. I drink herbal teas that help reduce cortisol levels and exercise daily.  So far my symptoms have not progressed and I am doing fine, I still work full-time and enjoy life as much as possible. I also believe that a positive mental attitude is key to my success.
