Asperger's is usually diagnosed from a few tests/surveys, and/or a interview with a psychologist/psychiatrist. At least a psychologist and/or psychiatrist are essential, though depending on the severity of the diagnosis, you may not need to see anyone for care. When diagnosing someone with Asperger's or really any thing that can be diagnosed, there should always be given a sheet or at least a link to a site that can tell them more on what they had just been diagnosed with, as not everybody is decent at researching and may get confused.
