If you are among the fortunate, those whose Pityriasis Rosea goes away by itself after 6 to 8 weeks, living with it is not so bad. If yours lasts longer, or comes back, treatment is certainly worthwhile! It can be embarrassing, unsightly, certainly itchy, but usually not catastrophic.
