Story about Prosopagnosia .

Creating ProsopAnonymous

Sep 10, 2016

In 2010, I discovered the term prosopagnosia and sought a diagnosis shortly after. It was only after reflecting back on my childhood that I realized if I had heard of the disorder earlier, my parents would have recognised it long before I identified what was wrong. With little information available online, I started ProsopAnonymous as a way to spread awareness and make it easier for individuals to recognise their own struggles with facial recognition, or identify it in their children so a support system can be put into place at a young age.
