I totally believe you can be happy living with Madelung's deformity! You just have to realize that you are different but being different isn't always a bad thing. In middle school it was a little more tough just because people made up silly rumors about my scars saying I was the one who caused them but things pass and you learn to love being different. At least I did, I like knowing it hasn't held me back from enjoying my career as a hairstylist. It kind of gives me an edge. I think something you have to do in order to be happy is be happy with yourself and don't let it become something that holds you back.
