The first step is known: the orexin cause (is the acepted theory), so the next step is to find a way to give the orexin or to increase the production of it.
I personaly think that as diabetes patiens have insulin, narcoleptics should have orexin.
Although there are few patients and so its a tiny market for the pharmaceutical to invest.
Also biologics can promote a control of the disease.
And the investigation of teories that connect the autoimune diseases. I think there must be a common link and a comon treatment. (This oppinion is a very personnal point of view).
