Get the correct medication, stay positive, the first week you must rest and don't feel guilty about resting - your body needs the rest. If your pain is out of control - inform your doctor and make sure they give you pain medication that will help you deal with it. Some people are in the hospital for weeks with this illness and powerful medications. I was just told to go home and take Aleve or Tylenol. Neither worked!!
