Relationships and chronic illness (not just Hashimoto's) are not an easy road. The best thing for your relationship is to be open and honest with your partner. Sometimes allowing them to come to appointments and ask your Dr questions can help. Don't isolate yourself. Make sure your partner knows what is going on in your head. Also remember that just like being sick is hard loving someone who is sick is equally hard.
