Just live your life like any normal person and don't let anyone tell you how to live. Don't let anyone tell you not to have kids or not to get married. You can be happy just like everyone else. You just need to wear a medical alert at all times with it stating MH and the 1-800 number on it. Make your kids wear a medical alert also. Put a flyer with do's and don'ts with Malignant Hypothermia. Actually I put a blow up of the MH card on neon yellow paper in the glove box of all vehicles. Tell your friends you ride with your allergic to anesthesia. NOTE IT ON ALL MEDICAL RECORDS. Don't forget kids school records. It becomes the norm and simple. I am 52 and have two beautiful girls. Just to give you an idea that life goes on here is what I had done.
