Feeling lost

Apr 2, 2018

By: Rachel

I started having symptoms 5 years ago with discomfort and pain in my abdomen and racing heartbeat.

I lived in Litchfield, MN at the time and the Dr couldn't find anything.!!  October of 2015 I started to get really sick.

They diagnosed me with depression. I did loose my dad and 3 cousins within 3 months BUT I started having trouble breathing and all sorts of weird stuff.

I ended up in the ER one night and the Dr reading the X-ray was worried about enlarged lymph nodes on my chest.

I also tested positive for mono so they send me home for 3 weeks then rechecked X-ray.

I got VERY SICK. But I thought it was just mono, I never had it before.

Half my body went numb. Dr didn't have any answers for that...   I switched Dr's.

She was a Nurse practitioner but she took my condition very seriously.  Finally!!!   She did a lot of testing. I had a biopsy done in St Cloud, MN and it came back sarcoidosis.

Meanwhile waiting to see a pulmonary Dr, I was in so much pain and agony they started me on 40mg of prednisone.

Dec 31th of 2015 I had my first stroke.

9 days at St Mary's hospital, domatilla, stroke unit. Day 5, I had another stroke during an angiogram...

Many many tests later I was diagnosed with

Neurosarcoidosis

A PFO

Factor V Leiden

Mayo Clinic put me on 60mg of prednisone along with a bunch of other junk including methotrexate.

April 2016 I was diagnosed with AVN of the hips and knees.

I tapered off prednisone and methotrexate and had hip surgery June 14th

Feb 8th 2017 I had a reaction to vaccines they told me I had to have.

It almost paralyzed me. I still have trouble walking some days.

I don't know who to trust anymore!
