My journey with Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma

I was diagnosed with ACC in March of 2007 and it recurred in January 2011. I have undergone major surgery including many reconstructive operations, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. I was diagnosed with it again in 2015. The surgery I had in February 2011 caused permanent facial disfigurement. My journey continues with the possibility that it will recur again in the future and with the constant worry that it will metatise to my lungs and/or liver.
