A Hereditary Angioedema story

My story starts where I was at school and my younger swelled up all of sudden. I went through the day and asked teachers multiple times if I should go but they said wait. After band practice,my dad came and picked me up. He took me to an after hours clinic where they gave me steroids and sent me home. I went to the doctor the next day where my throat and whole body swelled. I sat at one hospital for a week and it would not go down so I was sent to children's where I sat in spu for a week before I was sent home. I was in the hospital multiple times after and missed so much school where I was put on home bound for a whole semester. I had type three but they would never diagnose me till December. I hope one day that all the swells will slow down.
