Anosmia after Viral infection
Error
Had a bad upper respiratory infection in March and since then have not been able to smell at all. Still awaiting CT scan and smell training hasn’t helped. Nasal steroids help a tiny bit but only mild whiffs of chemical things like spraying deodorant or the vague undertones of sweet smells. My taste has been affected too but it’s not as bad as some people’s although I think I taste mainly from memory. No sign of my sense of smell returning. Very depressing.
