My husband was diagnosed in January of 2014. Looking back we realized that he had this disease at least 4 years. The symptons required emergency surgery in January, 2014. He had 2015 with 5FU and irinotecin. He was also cared for by an integrative medical care giver. This involved: organic eating, supplements, hydration treatments, and so much more. I have boxes of records so our children can use them if necessary. Dr. Lowy reviewed his records and determined it was too advanced to have HIPEC. In March of 2015, Andy stepped into heaven and my dear husband of 51 years is waiting for me. ADVICE: get to a specialist ASAP! Not every doctor knows what they are seeing.
