Appendix Cancer

Aug 13, 2017

By: Marty

Cancer diagnosis was in November 2016. MOAS and hipec in January. For those that don’t what MOAS is it’s called the mother of all surgery due to the complexity and the 10 hours average time in the OR. The hipec is a rather new chemo that it used in operating room during surgery. It is pumped in warm and left there for 100 minutes and then they suction it out hopefully with all the cancer cells.

The cancer diagnosis was devastating to me and my family.  Life changing as you all know. I am a fighter and will beat this.
