Year Condition Began: 2020

I received a spinal injury in the US Army in 1989. In 2014 I required a fusion at L5-S1. Within a year of thus surgery I was in lots of back pain. They referred me to a pain doctor who made a living doing as many injections as he can in a day. Well one time he went a little too deep and I felt like someone had attached car battery cabled to my scrotum and left leg. He said oops sorry about that.

Within a month or so I developed bad pain in my left thigh and hip. Something was wrong. This was a new something is wrong feeling.

My primary ordered an MRI and the affiliate radiology said there was nothing visibly wrong to justify pain.

I was devastated by the news because something was wrong and I knew it. I sent out my records to a second opinion company o found online. Within three days I had the results
. Adhesive arachnoiditis.
