Error
Diagnosed November 2014 after feeling quite sick for months. Hemoglobin was 62 and platelets low as well. Was originally diagnosed with Evans Syndrome because platelets also being destroyed. Prescribed prednisone 80 mgs and cyclosphosamide. Came off prednisone in January 2015 and cyclosphosamide in February, platelets were back in range, hemoglobin was 126 but dropped once off medications. Had 4 Rituxan infusions, last one in July, hasn't worked. Now waiting to see surgeon for splenectomy, not on any medications, hemoglobin is in the 90's and goes up and down but staying in the 90's.
