my bronch story

I was 12 and had had a near miss with death when I was diagnosed both my great grandparents had bronchiectasis my great grandad in exactly the same area as me lower left lobe and spreading I now have pseudomonas as well and have been severely asthmatic from birth. An immunologist sent for for ct scan after we explained in on hospital admittance my condition and the fact all I saw in hospital were adamant I had cystic fibrosis voila it was bronchiectasis. Story continues as I battle everyday. 14 meds and counting.
