Going gluten free

I was getting really sick a couple years ago and couldn't figure out what was going on. I had a heap of tests done but everything came back clear. A few months later (and a heap of maxalon) I went back to the docs and asked what else could be done. He told me he was going to try one last test. Then I went for my endoscopy and found out I had cd. I feel so much better now than ever before. I stick to a very strict diet. Only because I went to a wedding a few months back and they told me my meal was gf, well it turns out it wasn't. I was so sick all night. I will never really trust anywhere I go out to eat again. Until I came down to the Murry river for a holiday and we went into town for dinner. And I explained everything to them. They were so wonderful about it. And if anyone is in Noosa, you need to go to the deli cafe. It's 100% gf. And they are amazing. Their food tastes almost completely normal. And their sweets are to die for. I have cut so much out of my daily eating. But in the end it is worth it,just to know that your stomach is repairing it's self is such a blessing. I can't imagine living any other way. Some people say that they are so glad they don't go through the things I do, but at the end of the day I am me and I have coeliac disease for a reason and some days it's hard and some it's great. It's just positive thinking. And to know that when your doc turns around to you and says. " your more advance than other people without your disease cause they will all get it eventually" it does make you feel better. And for new people with coeliacs, it's really not that bad once your used to it. And you meet amazing people with the same thing as you, it's a great feeling to know your not alone.
