ME Research UK exists to commission and fund scientific (biomedical) investigation into the causes, consequences and treatment of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (also known as ME/CFS). To date, we’ve invested over £1.3 million on 41 distinct studies involving many of the systems of the body.Most of our work takes place in the UK, but we have also funded projects in Canada, Australia, Belgium and Sweden.
