Wasn't expecting that

Was having dinner with the family on a Sunday night when all of a sudden I wasn't feeling well and had a stomach ache. Well that stomach ache got worse and worse. Nothing I was taking was helping me get better so I went to the doctor. He prescribed me so ant acid pills and said to try them it didn't work he then referred me to another doctor. They did some blood work and a CT Scan and the diagnosis came back I had Chronic Pancreatitis. I live in a small town so the doctor really doesn't know exactly what to do for me. I have been researching things online and have found I am going to have a tough time. I have already begun my lifestyle change a few years ago when I quite drinking. I have been smoke free for over six years now so those wasn't hard to quit. The diet is the thing that will be trickier I love my red meat. I am finding out that the pancreas is saying no to a lot of the foods I am eating so am looking for a new diet to go on I guess. I am brand new to all of this so not sure what is best to do or not to do yet I will update this as my story grows.
