How did all start?

I can only remember I had my first one at 7 am one morning 7 years ago and they kept happening at the same time everyday. Was misdiagnosed with migraines for four years.

Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?

Took four years before I fund the right neurologist to diagnose me

What has been the most useful thing for you so far?

Sumatriptan injections along with 380 mg verapamil daily

What have been your biggest difficulties?

Missing work

How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?

I have a loving understanding family but have missed many important events due to an attack

What do you think about the future?

Hope they find a cure for chronic sufferers

If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?

I fear daily that I will have a cluster attack

Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?

Pray every day and take your preventive medication. Find a support group that can help you through the worst times.
