A Cluster Headaches story

Apr 18, 2016

I think my CHs are triggered by stress at a certain time of year. I am acute (thankfully) and March-April is usually my 2-4 week cycle then nothing for a year. I have had them in January at a time with exams which is why I believe it is stress triggered. The only thing that's worked for me so far is Sumatriptan injections but I have still felt very heavy after my cycle and wonder if it is because I used the injections for the best part of 2 weeks. Next time I would be tempted to try oxygen. When I am in cycle I believe heat is a HUGE trigger for my CHs. I often wake up shortly before an attack. I have had them at all times of day. When the cycle is fully established I can have up to 4 CHs per day.
