Been an episodic sufferer since the age of 18, and I usually have two cycles per year that last about six weeks each. Somehow I managed to make it through life, kids, school and major events, but the beast always returns. I am the only person in my family with any kind of headache disorder, so I feel very alone at times, and it has taken many of them several years to even accept that I'm not faking my condition.
