Thought I had food poisoning, was misdiagnosed for two months,with several trips to the ER and Primary. On my last trip to a different hospital,the covering doctor ran bloodwork, then told me I had one foot in the grave and hope you have funeral arrangements made. I wanted to leave, then he said you have Cogans Syndrome and it’s not going to get better, it’s going to get worse and a lot of other conditions are going to develop. Blood tests don’t lie. He was a rheumatologist covering for the ER doctor. Who knew about cogans. That was ten years ago.
