My name is Kimberly and I was born in the Midwest in 1972. I have lived with Cold Urticaria, Fibromyalgia, Reynauds Syndrome, Panic Disorder, Depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder since I can remember. I have no memory of life without these conditions. Unfortunately I went without diagnosis until adulthood. I still encounter doctors who don't understand my conditions or straight up don't believe they exist. You really have to learn to advocate for yourself. I was horrible about sticking up for myself. I was raised to NEVER question those in authority. The doctors know best. That is not always true and you really have to believe in yourself and question everything. Research your symptoms and try to see a specialist in the field. Research your treatment options. Sometimes you may find that you need to bring someone with you to your appointments. Learn everything you can about current treatments . It is really helpful to talk to others with your condition. We can learn from each other.
