A Colloid cyst story

Was taken to the ER because of severe headachs for 6 weeks and had finally caused me to throw up. They did a CT scan and initially said I had 2 brain bleeds. Because there were no neurosurgeons at the hospitol I was transfered to St Davids in Austin Tx. I was placed in ICU and immediatly scheduled for an MRI of the brain. They said I had a Colloid Cyst and Hydrocephalus. The next day I had another MRI of the spinal column to check for any leaks as I had had a Laminectomy on my lower back because of Spinal Stenosis 2 months prior. I was released the next day because the surgeon wanted to study the MRI's to determine the course of action. I saw him 2 weeks later for consultation and we decided to do the surgery and he said he would also place a shunt in. I am scheduled for surgery on 4/2/2016. Surgery will be at Lakeway Regional Medical Center where he perfers to do his surgeries.
