My TBI story
2005 went to ER with hydrocephalus upon further testing found a colloid cyst of the third ventricle blocking the foramina of Monroe causing the hydrocephalus. After relieving the pressure from the hydrocephalus they went in and attempted to remove the colloid cyst they were unsuccessful in removing the whole cyst. During the time between 2005 and 2013 was in and out of hospitals complaining of sharp stabbing pain's had multiple MRI scans CAT scans and other testing. In 2010 went to ER with severe hydrocephalus again they implanted a VP shunt. In 2013 wound up in ER once again with severe head pressure after many CAT scans MRIs and other testing 2-2.5" tubes foreign bodies were discovered one lodged in foramen of Monroe which was removed the second is still lodged in the occipital lobe that had been left brain from from 2005 surgery. The VP shunt was in 4 pieces.
