Long time

As a child I suffered migraine and sickness. Quire often being ill for a day and recovery all in the same day maximum 24 hours.

It subsided for years until I was 21 (1990) and would have occasional bouts. With trips to hospital and kept in whilst they started the usual tests we all have. Crones. Ibs. Etc. I was found to have ulcers. You name them I've had them. Then the ulcers were no more. And my bouts of sickness could not be explained so was scorned and made to feel a fraud on many occasions when I have needed a hospital visit. Even now when I have to be admitted to hospital very rarely I am moaned at and told I should be self medicating... By time I've called to be admitted I would have been through a bout lasting at least 6 weeks and all my salts, potassium dangerously low all needs resetting with IV bags. Food at that stage is a no no.

I was finally diagnosed in 2012 after 3 years of constant bouts slipping from one to another. Not by the hospital looking after me. By private consultation paid for my my dad bless him, with top consultant Anthony Emanuel. Cannot recommend him more.

I had to leave my job as a QS as I couldn't make the necessary dead lines required. Unfortunately I also had a shop which took almost 5 years to get rid off (2017) and have not worked since.

I recently started some permitted work. Which is a great feeling but not when jobcentre plus stops your benefits.
