Hi!! 

My name is Jozefien, I was born in November 1994 and diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in October 2001! 

Last year (2014-2015) I spent 8 months in "rehab"/a mental hospital struggling with depression and OCD and life in general. Today, I'm studying to be a high school teacher (math and Latin)! It gets better, I promise! 

I've had my medtronic pump since 2013 and before that I was on Lantus and Novorapid injections. Besides the insulin I'm on anti-depressants, hormones because my thyroid gland works too slowly and betablockers cause my heart beats too fast cause of the diabetes. 

What else... Mmm... I have a tattoo behind my left ear of three little stars. It's a reminder that I survived and that I'm strong and a fighter.
