How did all start?
Woke up one morning with headache, Confusion, not sure where i was, my partner took me to the Doctors who examined me and told her to take me straight to the Hospital
Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?
At the Hospital i had Blood Test, Lumber Puncture & Brain Scan
It came back after Blood Test i had Encephalitis
I was in Hospital for 2 weeks on a drip of medication
Can't remember the first week
What have been your biggest difficulties?
I am physically fit but my Current memory is terrible
Can't remember names or places or where iv'e put things or what day or date it is
Since then i have had 2 seizures & can' drive at the moment
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
Me & my partner split up after about 12 months after it happened
She says im'e not the same person she met
What things have you stopped doing?
Working, I got signed off due to capability
Driving iv'e had 2 seizures
Socialising
So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?
Worked all my life in the Motor Trade until it happened had a Managerial Position
Never been out of work until i got Encephalitis
What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?
Carry on as normal enjoying life
