Since I started having periods they were always painful and my family doctor told me that was normal and i would also end up missing school for days (Very heavy periods). This went on for years undiagnosed so in 2008 I was living in Nova Scotia and was diagnosed with the most extream case of endometriosis. That lead to a full hysterectomy in 2012.
