How did all start?
My daughter, my 1st child was diagnosed in 2007 at 7 months and passed at 16 months in 2008. I am a mother of 5 and 3 of my children were/are affected by GM1 Gangliosidosis, type 1, the early infantile. My 4th child, my second son was diagnosed at 3 months and passed 2 weeks before his 2nd birthday in 2015. My 5th child, my baby boy was diagnoised by amniocentesis at 16 weeks into my pregnancy. He is currently 2 years and 10 months.
