aug 2014 started taking cipro for a bladder infection by 3rd day had tingling, numbness in fingers and weak knees, 2 days after that needed help walking. by that time had been to ER and Doc made appointment for neurologist, 5 mins with neuro he said Guillian Barre and we can fix this. paralyzed from shoulders down with a bit of facial as well.....no vent..5days IVIG.....12 days in hospital, 18 days in accute rehab, then 10 weeks of outpatient therapy.......5 months off my job......estimate myself at about 70% back.....holding out for 100% yet.neuro says it is likely.
