Story about Guillain-Barre Syndrome .

My husband has GBS

Jun 6, 2016

By: Kim

My husband became sick on April 30,2016. He was diagnosed three days later. It's day 37 and he remains paralyzed and has a trach.  We communicate by using a white board with the alphabet listed on board and he looks and tries to mouth the letter. This has been absolute hell for me and my son.  They say he will recover but it's such a slow process, sometimes I feel like I will go out of my mind. Any spouses out their that have a good story, I would really like to hear it.
